 As with every other BPM detector I have found it only reads .mp3 files. Most of the music I have is .m4p and I don\'t want to convert it I just want to know what BPM it is so I can use it to exercise to!
 The program works great... Simple and easy to use ...I\'ve been looking for an easy way to measure BPM in songs for a while now It helps when trying to create a certain style or beat in FLSTUDIO 8 Producer edition..Thanks..from ////SYSTEM ONE.
this thing works great.I\'ve been using it to find the tempos of beats made on a keyboard drum machine. It\'s nice to know the exact tempo sometimes like 112.14.I would never be able to get it that exactly.
 hey guys great program very helpful. Could be improved in allowing the search engine to search subfolders as well so i don't have to search through each file individually, have my music saved in artist/album/song format so is taking quite a while.
 This is a great idea--It would be even better if it worked! I just want something to tag the bpm of my music for my ipod. Guess I'll have to keep looking, because this application didn't do it.
 Good software Software was easy to install and worked well. Used it to check against another bpm counter and the bpm's were pretty closely matched down to the 100th. Easy to use but haven't fully explored it yet.

 Quite intresting as a tool for EKG reading on computer screen! However, if one could flip it, not just rotate, like a real EKG caliper, this feature would improve this tool in determinent of cardiomegaly or something else.

Works quickly and accurately - a very useful tool!!
Downloaded this free piece of software and was pleasantly surprised by the ease of use, and how effective it was at doing the job. Used it to find the BPM of around 200 tracks. Writes the BPM to the ID3 tag for you, which is a nice touch. Only a couple of the tracks came back with spurious BPM counts much higher than expected, so overall is highly effective at finding accurate BPM infomration. Can recommend it to anyone looking for a simple fast uncomplicated tool for this job.

 nice software So far i used this software to practice on a pad while sitting next to my pc.pros:- easy to use- no installation required- possibility to combine different measurescons:Everything's fine so far. There are only a few things missing to make it really powerful:- tap-function- midi-out (masterclock with possibility to send differnet timecodes)
Free Metronome I downloaded this software for my son who is 10 years old and drumming in his band. His very happy with this applictaion, Easy to use and very helpful. Since we never tried any other software we can't compare. All in all a very very good thing.

Not bad. I downloaded the metronom and it's pretty good. I haven't registered yet, and I don't attend to because I'm poor, but the demo doesn't expire after a few days.

I like the fact that you can turn the volume all the way down and just follow the bouncing ball...great for recording my vst\'s into audacity, since with a metronome that uses only audio references, those would be included in the recording...

I think this metronome is great for a freeware. I wish it had a number of different sounds you can choose for the starting beat, the rest of the beats, and the SubDivision beats, and that you can also adjust the volume of each sound. It would also be nice if visually a large pulsing light is synced to the beat (perhaps the GUI skin can be switched to a dark one so the flashing light is more obvious), with the first beat being brighter, or maybe a different color. Even better would be to allow us to choose the ...

Hi,Thanks for the follow up. I had downloaded and installed your suite of products, TempoPerfect, TwelveKeys etc. When I installed the software suite I found it a bit sloppy as it would not allow install of the entire suite but kept stepping on itself informing me to close any Twelvekeys products I had running, (though I had none running) and staying in that loop. When I tried to close out of the install it would start again and I had to reboot.The suite did appear to install, but when I attempted to run Twelvekeys the loop started over ...
